The Australian Sustainable Cities Awards encourage, motivate and celebrate the local sustainability achievements of urban communities across Australia. State and Territory finalists are announced by June with the Australian awards announced in October. The current winner, Canada Bay, NSW, was announced in Canberra on 23rd October 2009.
